As a massage therapist for the past 7 years I am a strong supporter of scientific research and education to advance the profession of massage therapy. I also believe in sharing my skills and education with the community by sharing the gifts of physical and emotional health. The Massage Therapy Research Foundation has been paramount in my journey to achieve this goal. As a runner, I have always believed that having a goal and a vision for continuous growth and improvement was the driving force behind my desire to run. Running keeps me focused on my own mental and physical health which allows me to be present and capable for my clients and people I serve. With the support of the Massage Therapy Research Foundation and the John Hancock Non-Profit Marathon Program, my goal is to raise awareness of the need for Massage Therapy Research while running to show my support. I am grateful for this exceptional opportunity and ask for your support in this journey.
