Our 4-year-old nephew, Clay, is my inspiration and motivation to raise funds and run the 2020 Boston Marathon for Mass General Hospital (MGH). Clay was diagnosed with Burkitt's non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in July of 2019 and has been a patient in and out of the hospital since then. Paul and I have been fortunate to see first-hand the truly world-class care provided by the hospital and staff. Our family has directly benefitted from the programs designed to enhance the quality of life for the pediatric patients, such as the music and art therapy programs.
Your donation goes directly to the pediatric hematology-oncology program at MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MCHfC). Thanks in large part to the dollars raised MGHfC is advancing cutting-edge research and increasing the number of clinical studies to improve cure rates. The research conducted here has wide-spread impacts on treatments for children everywhere.
I am humbled to represent this institution and honored to run (and train during the MINNESOTA WINTER!) for our super-hero nephew Clay.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
