I am honored to be running in the 2020 Boston Marathon in April for Massachusetts General Hospital’s (MGH) Marathon Team “Fighting Kids’ Cancer…. One Step at a Time.”
I am running for my mom, Noreen Flynn Beck, who passed away from breast cancer when I was 18. Her battle with cancer lasted 10 years, and MGH was an integral part of her treatment. Cancer impacts the lives of people of all ages, so I am running in her memory to help enhance the quality of life for the hospital’s youngest cancer patients.
The MGH Marathon Team Fighting Kids’ Cancer, One Step at a Time has raised over $15.5 million to support the pediatric hematology-oncology program at MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC). Funds raised are directed to cancer care, research, and initiatives. Please consider donating to join in the fight against cancer.
Thanks for helping me kick cancer’s butt, one step at a time!
With much love and appreciation,
