For the past 16 years, the Penn State Thespians has been supporting the HIV/AIDS community through our creative talents. In 2001, the club presented the main stage production, "Quilt, A Musical Celebration." The musical honors the stories of those woven in the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt. Then in 2002, the Penn State Thespians created an annual, beneficiary cabaret "MasquerAIDS" to support the AIDS Resource located in Centre County. To further maximize our fundraising efforts, we kindly ask for your support. Members of the Penn State Thespians have been working all year to create a show which both beautifully honors and supports the HIV/AIDS community. For our 16th season, we will be presenting, "MasquerAIDS 2018: Mx." Mx. is the gender neutral prefix, and it parallels this year's theme of miscast which will spotlight dramatic storytelling from new and fluid perspectives. The cabaret will be performed on January 21, 2018 in Heritage Hall of the HUB-Robeson Center at Penn State. All donations for MasquerAIDS 2018 will go directly to AIDS Resource to provide free testing, treatment, and support to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. We appreciate any form of support, and we thank you for your generosity!
