We're a local housing nonprofit based in Los Angeles on a mission to break and end the cycle of homelessness. We focus on serving recently homeless individuals, by connecting them with housing services and financial sponsorship.
The coldest time of year is here and our homeless population is vulnerable and ill equipped to handle it. Adding to this vulnerability is the global COVID-19 pandemic. As temperatures dip, more individuals will seek shelter indoors, which will directly increase the risk of a COVID-19 outbreak within our local homeless shelters. Help us help our most vulnerable—your donation will directly go to purchasing socks, masks, blankets, and water for homeless individuals.
Our Campaign Goal is broken down as follows:
-100 packs of socks (packs come with 4 pairs)
-5*48 water bottles to share among 100 homeless persons
The items will be purchased via our AmazonSmile charity list, which will be updated at the end of every week for transparency.
Urban Quality Living is working to identify impacted shelters in Los Angeles to provide these items to in bulk, to make the greatest impact. Currently LA Mission and First to Serve are on our list.
Thank you for your support and generosity. Together we can #HelpBringThemIndoors
