Mary Lee Lang, a lifelong registered nurse and dedicated mother, passed away peacefully October 5, 2019 due to pancreatic cancer at the age of 66.
Mary Lee was born and raised the eldest of five in Park Ridge, New Jersey where she graduated from Rosary Academy Catholic High School. Her career as a nurse began at Middlesex County College where she obtained her nursing certificate in 1974. She worked in numerous specialties but ultimately found her calling in the New Jersey corrections system. Throughout her 40 year career she proved to be an incredibly hardworking and skilled nurse with multiple promotions and accolades. Her most recent position was Regional Nurse Manager with Rutgers UMDNJ at the New Jersey State Prison. In 2018 she retired to Scottsdale, Arizona where she enjoyed year round sunshine.
Mary Lee had many interests including reading, music, knitting, traveling and recapping the latest shows such as Downton Abbey with friends. Mary Lee knew how to enjoy life and could often be found sunning at the beach, relaxing at the pool or savoring fresh seafood and champagne. However, her greatest joy and achievement in life was her family. She was a devoted mother, sister and aunt. She loved hosting family holidays and birthdays and opening her home for all to enjoy.
