FOR THOSE WHO GAVE ALL
GIVING BACK TO THE FAMILIES OF POLICE OFFICERS KILLED OR THOSE OFFICERS SEVERELY INJURED IN THE LINE OF DUTY.
Team BlueLine is a 501C3 non profit that raises money for families of officers killed or those severely injured in the line of duty. How many times have you seen on tv or read in the paper about a police officer being injured or killed in the line of duty? Have you ever asked yourself how you can help? After the funeral and the officer is laid to rest, the family is left with a shattered world to rebuild. For the officer that was severely injured, the medical and other bills start to build up. We here at Team BlueLine want to help with the rebuilding of lives and the giving of financial provisions to help during the process.
One of the ways Team BlueLine raises money is through Team BlueLine Racing. Team BlueLine Racing is made up of active and retired Law Enforcement officers, spouses, family members, and friends that are supportive of the cause. Team BlueLine Racing competes in Triathlons, Cycling Races, Road Races, and many other events in place of the heroes who have their given all in the line of duty.
Each year Team BlueLine Racing looks to support and fund raise for these officers or the families that where left behind. In 2017 Team BlueLine will be racing and fundraising for Deputy Sheriff Nick Tullier of the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office. Nick was one of the officers ambushed in Baton Rouge incident in July of 2016. Nick was originally not expected to survive the incident. Nick has continued to show incredible strength and is recovering from the injuries he sustained that day. Although he has a long road ahead, he has continued to show his inner strength and make great steps in his recovery. He is turly living up to the term #NICKTULLIERSTRONG
Team BlueLine will also be raising money to support Officer Craig Tudor. On August 25th, 2016 he was responding to an “Officer need of aid call” when a vehicle pulled out in front of him as he was running code. The impact sent his vehicle into a ditch which caused it to roll several times. Craig’s vehicle came to rest on its roof and he needed to be cut out of the vehicle. Craig is paralyzed from the chest down from this vehicle crash.
Each member of Team BlueLine will finish a race with a BlueLine flag in honor of these officers. Please help Team BlueLine honor these hero's and consider donating to this worthy cause.
