“When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher wall.”
ALL people should have access to the food they want and need. Yet, even as perfectly good food is thrown away and farmable land sits vacant, too many Nashvillians are left with limited access to nutritious food.
The Nashville Food Project embraces a vision of vibrant community food security in Nashville, sharing nourishing meals in partnership with other nonprofits, and growing fresh food in vibrant production, community and market gardens across the city. After almost 10 years based in a small church kitchen, The Nashville Food Project is building a new headquarters to continue to grow this work -- building a space where ALL in Nashville can gather around a table.
