We are running for the future of health – will you join us?
The Tufts University Biomedical Engineering program is educating the next generation of innovators for health; innovators in tissue engineering, drug delivery, and wearable medical sensors.
Our goal is to create an annual prize for an outstanding biomedical engineering senior; a prize to honor their research efforts to date and inspire them to continue.
Our passion for supporting this work has us running 26.2 miles from Forest City to Scranton, PA on Sunday, October 7th, 2018 in the Steamtown Marathon!
Your gift today makes me even more excited to run along with supporting future innovations in health that could benefit us all.
Please give and thank you!
Every year the Biomedical Engineering Department honors its graduating class with a brunch for students and family members. It happened that this year, the Mystic River Herring Run & Paddle was taking place right next door, so I showed up directly after the race, still in my running gear and took the opportunity to pledge that the next marathon I ran would be to raise money to help endow the prize. See if you can spot me in the class photo. What better way could there have been be launch this campaign?
