This year will be my 5th NYC Marathon and I'm trying to raise money for this great elementary school that I'm on the board of:
St. Charles Borromeo Elementary School is the last parish-based Catholic elementary school in Harlem. Since 1904, it has been drawing on it's Catholic roots to educate children of all faiths and cultures in the heart of New York City, emphasizing the way that each student's unique gifts and talents can be brought to their full potential through high-quality education.
The Friends of St. Charles Borromeo Elementary School is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization who's sole purpose is to raise money to support the students and faculty of St. Charles Borromeo Elementary School. I am a member of the board and help to shape the way we use our funds to address 3 of the schools most pressing needs: 1. Scholarships for students, 2. Faculty development and support, 3. Educational enrichment/special programs.
Our board is all volunteer, so every tax-deductible dollar you give (after Crowdrise's fees) will go directly to support the school and its mission.
