Food on Foot was an organization that came into my Universe by surprise. At one of the toughest points in my life, when I felt like I had no family support, no friends, and no success to show for my hard work, I came across Food On Foot’s website.
My boyfriend at the time sent me their link to share an organization he thought we could both support when we made our move to Los Angeles. I was completely broke at the time, but boy did I have it so good compared to the people that Food on Foot helps.
Inspired by this organization’s drive to not only feed the homeless, but to give those who are ready to change an opportunity to get a job, find an apartment, build a savings account, and develop new life skills to empower them as well, I decided to make this my primary organization that I wanted to support on a consistent basis.
As my business grew and as I kept on giving, I kept receiving more tear jerking testimonials showing me just how much of an impact this organization had on the lives of those who are homeless in Los Angeles. Often times we think that we have it so bad, we forget about those who feel completely helpless. Those who haven’t yet come across any glimmer of hope.
And for that reason, let’s come together on Sunday, September 9th (please RSVP to email@example.com before Sep 3) to give back what we have been blessed with & share that glimmer of hope with as many souls as we possibly can.
If for whatever reason you cannot attend the volunteering event on September 9th, please feel free to donate anyway. I will be matching donations up to $10,000. I know we can do this together!
