Neelamegam Subramanian (Mani Uncle), age 73, of Norcross, GA, born February 18th, 1947 escaped his mortal body due to cardiac arrest on Sunday, September 6th, 2020 - leaving behind his beloved wife Padmaleka, caring daughters Veena & Shyla.
Mani uncle hailed from a humble family from one of the ancient cities of India, Madurai. He went to study Aerospace engineering at IIT Kharagpur and MS in Georgia Tech, Atlanta, GA. He fluently speaks many languages - Sourashtra, Tamil, English & Hindi.
Mani uncle was the President of Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam in 1991 and had been a longtime supporter of GATS. He retired from Southern Company and is mostly liked wise soul among the Asian communities. He was passionate about his photography and has covered many Asian cultural events. He was young at heart, loved to travel, try different foods, talking to people, and pass on his big smile to others - Life of the Party.
