Earlier this year, my father found out that he had stage four non-small cell lung cancer. He had been feeling under the weather and went to the doctor, who initially told him that he had a case of walking pneumonia. Days later, we found out that what they thought was pneumonia was non-small cell lung cancer that had spread from his left lung to his right lung. A few years ago, a dear friend of mine decided to shave her head as part of a fundraiser for the St. Baldrick's foundation. I have decided to volunteer my head to help raise money for cancer research. I hope to raise $750 for cancer research by July 31st, but even if we do not hit that goal, I will still shave my head for the cause. Thank you for your generosity! All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
