Once again this year our merry group of intrepid adventurers is planning to support the wonderful Stratton Foundation and draw attention to Southern VT's other super-awesome mountain, Magic. Back in 2017, entering on a lark, we raised almost $8,000 (2nd place), four of our team members ended up winning our age categories in terms of most vertical feet skied, and our team won first overall. In 2018, we came back with a vengeance, raised almost $12,000 and again took first place for overall vertical feet skied. In 2019 we raised almost $10,000 and won numerous categories. In 2020 we’re adding several kids to the team and are still committed to skiing a lot, raising money for a great cause, and having fun. We hope that you will support this noble cause. And possibly considering skiing with us on March 21-22.
The event raises money to provide necessary services to children across southern Vermont who are living in poverty. Through the success of the 24 Hours of Stratton, the Stratton Foundation is making an impact on hunger and food insecurity, the oral and mental health crisis, warmth, basic daily necessities, emergencies, and targeted education.
The mission of the Stratton Foundation is to address the challenges that stand between a child in need and the chance to be healthy, safe, happy, and ready to learn for the opportunity to thrive and succeed!
Please support me and my team as we earn points for fundraising and participation, joining hundreds of athletes from around the country in camaraderie and charity to Change Lives for Children in Vermont!
