Hi everyone! I want to tell you about a trip I'm taking to Ghana this summer. I will be working with Saha Global to empower women in rural communities to solve their villages need for clean water. As a Field Representative of Saha Global, I am a part of an international team of social enterprise professionals. Our team will partner with communities that drink water from contaminated sources. We will train community appointed women to use alum and chlorine to treat the water they collect. These women will then sell the clean water to their community. The funds I'm raising will pay for the cost of treatment equipment, primarily the large water drums that will hold the water throughout the treatment process. Saha is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, so all donations are tax deductible. As Americans, we take clean water for granted. I am really excited about the opportunity to impact a country where 40% of the population lacks access to clean water. Thank you for your support to this great initiative!
