This March, I will be running in the Love Run Philadlephia Half Marathon in honor of my family's dearest friend's daughter and her fight with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Dylan is a beautiful little girl who turned 5 years old this past year, and just began her battle with this ugly disease this past week.
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) is a cancer that affects the white blood cells. ALL most often occurs in children ages 3-5, and about 3,000 people younger than the age of 20 are found to have ALL each year in the United States.
This cause is near and dear to my family's heart, as it is to many of us. Please consider joining me in helping donate to cancer research and patient support. No amount is too little, and every contribution makes a difference in the lives of people affected by this illness. I run so little kiddos like Dylan can continue to live happy and healthy lives, and share their bright smiles with the world.
All proceeds go to the Legacy of Hope. Thank you so much for joining the fight against cancer - let's do this thing!
