All mountains really start at the coast. That's where their height is measured from. So that's what we do. We hike from the lowest point in New England (sea level) to the highest New England mountain summit, the top of Mount Washington.
This is our 6th Hike for the Homeless for Fair Tide. Our team, formerly three old guys with boots--and now two--has been climbing the mountain for homeless people annually since 2015. We’ve raised over $50,000 for Fair Tide. This year, as in the past, with the help of our support team of Mary Oplinger and Lynn Zacharias, we’ll hike 100 miles in 5 days from the coast of Maine to the New Hampshire summit of Mt Washington. Thank you in advance to everyone who supports homeless people in need, especially during these really tough times of the Covid Virus.
We'll be hiking during the week of Sept 6-13.
