During a recent zoo trip, Lyla spent quite some time talking to the conservations educational team about the elephant orphanage, in Kenya. She even learned how her donations could help provide lifesaving milk and medical care for baby elephants. This really perked her interest, and after volunteering at a neighborhood charity lemonade stand, she had her perfect idea. Since her birthday is right around the corner, she decided it would be a great spot for a lemonade stand. Lyla has picked the goal amount of $100, hoping to "adopt" a baby elephant that she will be given updates and photos of as the elephant grows. I have a feeling she will zoom past her original goal! Thank you so much for your part in nurturing Lyla's love for wildlife conservation.
