As the world suffers from the global pandemic, and we all experience the effects of a government-mandated shutdown, we are reminded of the little blessings along the way - a job, meals for our families, homes to give us comfort. Bolivia, like many countries, has been on strict lock-down and our brothers and sisters have sadly felt the impact! The lock-down has been so severe that even those who were working for very little, now have nothing. Even though by God’s grace the country has not seen as many deaths, the financial hardship of the lockdown has been devastating.
Thankfully, the Coptic Church in Bolivia has risen up and is working on many projects to help support those in need. The church is actively working on the following projects, and is in need of assistance:
-ICU support for those who are in the hospital and have enormous medical bills
-Food care packages to those who are severely impoverished
-Soup kitchen on wheels for widows and families in need
-Financial support to the parishioners of the Coptic Church in Bolivia who are in need
-Financial collaborations with Catholic Charities in order to further support their reach
Love and Hope Bolivia is asking for your generous donations to help our brothers and sisters in Bolivia. Please consider supporting this fundraiser and may the Lord reward you bountifully. Most importantly, please pray for Bolivia and the mission.
