COVID-19, a word that we did not know 5 months ago, has had an impact on all of us. While the impact on most of the developed world has been significant, our brothers and sisters in third world countries have been devastatingly impacted. In the Nigerian rural villages where daily life consists of lack of water, electricity and medical care, the lockdowns have prohibited movement and prevented access to food resulting in hunger and starvation. Markets, daily outlets for food, are shut down, there is no place to get food, no refrigeration and no food pantries. Another great need also exists, compounded by COVID-19, there is no access to affordable medical care for the less privileged. Many lives, including the very young, are lost from curable illnesses and disease. In addition to the work that we have done over the past 11 years to improve the daily life in the areas of Education, Water, Health and Microfinance, ImaBridge Africa is working to help relieve the immediate needs in Provision of Food and Healthcare. Please join our effort. Every dollar goes directly to providing food and/or healthcare to all, no matter their circumstances. We cannot always control what happens but we can control our response which can make the world a better place.
