Louis Friedline IBEW Member and hot apprentice - Northland was injured in an arc flash event on Friday, August 28th. He was transported to KU Burn Center where he remains, being treated for 3rd-degree burns to his face, neck, torso, chest, arms, back, and shoulders. Louis is a dedicated husband to his wife Amanda and four children; Sarah, John, Jacob, and Andrew. Louis served our country in the Army enlisting as an Infantryman and served in operations Anaconda and Enduring Freedom. He currently serves as Sargent in the 249th Engineer Battalion for the Army Reserves. Louis has represented the US Army Reserves in the International Linemen's Rodeo for the past two years. Louis will be facing surgery in the upcoming days and expected to remain hospitalized for several more weeks. All proceeds from this REACH fundraiser will assist the Friedline family with expenses as Louis completes his treatment and rehabilitation.
