The Lost Lake Run is about 16 miles of awesomeness to support people with Cystic Fibrosis. This is my 3rd time participating in this run. I am impressed with the organization and amount of money raised since the start of the very first race in 1992. Please consider donating to this amazing organization. Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. According to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Patient Registry, in the United States: - More than 30,000 people are living with cystic fibrosis - Approximately 1000 new case are diagnosed each year - More than 75% of people with CF are diagnosed by age of 2 - More than half of CF population is age 18 or older. I am running this race on my own this year not as a team. I have a big goal ahead of me but I know I know my great friends, family will help me reach my goal.
