Swimmer: Annie Taylor
Kayak Spotter: Janice Bryant
This Mother/Daughter duo is participating to help support Scouting and Camping in New England while spending some mother-daughter time outside.
Janice and her husband, Lone Tree's former Ranger Harry Taylor, raised Annie at Lone Tree and have supported her Scouting journey while also being a support system to the other Venturers from Annie's time and the later generations as well. Janice has been the Adult Female for both of Crew 345's Allagash Trips; one where the Crew canoed 65 miles and another where Janice organized the youth into a search and rescue team that saved the lives of two fishermen. She isn't much for the networking side of fundraisers but is always willing to get outside and help.
Annie's love of Scouting, the outdoors, Lone Tree, and Wah-Tut-Ca are undeniable. From being born and raised at Lone Tree to working there and at Wah-Tut-Ca to getting a degree in Outdoor Education and becoming an officer for The Lone Tree Spirit Foundation (TKF's sister foundation) as well as Committee Chair of Venturing Crew 345 Annie actively supports this community with every fiber of her being.
