I’m back for another trip around ye olde streets of London Town! Still recovering from last year’s mammoth marathons and the bad ankle but I am willing to give it another go. I’m just hoping I get over that finish line in time and if you would consider a donation to Project Purple I would be very grateful for every penny! I set out on a mission two years ago to prove that no matter what stands in your way you can achieve your goals if you are both determined and positive. I hope I have encouraged you to #RunRosyRun and try something new. I am beyond grateful and appreciative of the generosity and encouragement of everyone who has supported me in my mission which has snowballed into trying to complete all of the World Major Marathons. Every mile I run, I run in honour of you. This year pancreatic cancer surpassed breast cancer and became the third leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States and it is the fourth leading cancer in Europe. Pancreatic Cancer receives less than 2% of overall cancer research funding across Europe so every penny you donate is essential. Your donations are making a huge difference to supporting the lives of patients through funding of critical research in the hopes of being able to catch this disease in its early stages and in providing hope and compassion for patients currently receiving treatment. Project Purple believes no one should undergo this battle on their own. Though the five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer stands at just 9%, we know that with your help we can make our vision of a world without pancreatic cancer a reality!
