The 2019 Lincoln Half Marathon will be my 2nd race with Project Purple and I am running to raise awareness and funding towards Pancreatic Cancer research so we can someday beat this horrible disease. More importantly I am running in honor of my Grandma Corrine who lost her battle to Pancreatic Cancer on October 15, 2016. I am also running to honor ALL of those we have lost too soon to Pancratic Cancer and I ask that you help me with this mission! If you are donating in honor of someone, I plan to wear their name on my jersey so I can carry their memory every step of the race. This year it is my goal to raise at least $700 for Project Purple who is working to further medical breakthroughs, helping with preventative and early detection discoveries, and supporting the patients throughout their treatment with financial aid and moral support programs.
