I've had Parkinson's disease since ~2004. My passion is to help others through information, resources and support to find their way to living their best life on their journey with Parkinson's disease. Upon my medical retirement from a 35 year health care career in 2015, I became more active in the PD community by joining and acting as secretary for Parkinson's Association of San Diego. Since then, I've also been named an Ambassador for the Davis Phinney Foundation and am involved with the Michael J Fox Foundation as well. While I am blessed to be actively living my best life through exercise and with the support of my family, friends, health care team at UCSD, and associates, many in our community struggle to find their own best life with PD. Please join me and PASD in raising funds so that we can continue to provide information, resources and support for all in the Parkinson's community in San Diego county.
