Thirty years ago this agency was founded on a single idea: To change lives. Fast forward to today; Jobs Have Priority Incorporated is a 501 (c) Non-profit agency servicing the District of Columbia and Maryland. As we acknowledge our growth in the community, and celebrate the many lives we have aided to change, there is still so much more work to do.
Today we are launching our Live with Hope for your Future campaign. We are asking for your help to reach a total giving of $30.000 by December 31st, 2018.
On average, to assist a family during a temporary 90 to 180 day stay at one of our programs is $1000, with our largest family household being upward of 7 individuals. Your donations we will help us to assist 58 families, comprised of single mothers, and fathers, with children, housed in our DC and Maryland sites with meeting some of their most basic and urgent needs and also secure pivotal programs.
Please, consider making a tax-deductible donation to support our cause. With your help we can continue to plant seeds of hope and change, and continue to move the needle forward in the lives of our most vulnerable. No donation is too small; any amount will be greatly appreciated.
All funds received will go directly to support food and grocery assistance, our children’s holiday wish list, our arts and mood room program; (designed to help families manage stress through artistic expression) in addition, funds will support necessary housing and employment assistance.
