Liberty is a young, happy, super-sweet dog, who’s come upon very difficult times. She’s a Karma dog, adopted two years ago by guardian angel Emerald. Liberty needs our assistance, and we’re asking Karma supporters to help her.
Liberty presented with signs of non-regenerative anemia, but after initial diagnostics, the specialist now believes Liberty either has cancer on her muzzle, or a fungus in her nasal passage which could spread to her brain - both these scenarios are devastating, but treatable.
Liberty is young (only 2 years, 7 months), and she’s special - everyone she sees is met with eye contact, tail wags and generous kisses. She’s full of life! In the attached photos, you can see how bonded she is with her sister dog-companion, Mali. There are still thousands more people for Liberty to greet, and she has hundreds of thousands more kisses to give. Liberty, Emerald, Mali and Karma are not giving up!
A CT scan is scheduled this coming Thursday (November 1st) and the hospital requires up-front payment before they’ll admit her; the estimate for treatment is $3,983.17, plus the $863.15 already incurred for the diagnostics. Thus, before the scan can be performed, $4846.32 must be made payable to the vet. LIBERTY NEEDS YOUR HELP, A.S.A.P.
Liberty's health is our number-one priority, so WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW.
Liberty is very loved. After the specialist spent time with her, doing x-rays and an ultrasound, she thinks Liberty can be saved. The specialist's assistant likewise bonded with Liberty and made sure the CT-scan was done on a day when she’d be there, so that Liberty wouldn't have to spend a day kenneled.
