Every child deserves quality health care. Our kids' health is so critical to their ability to do well in school and in life. Here locally, quality care is not accessible to every child, particularly those living in poverty or with special health care needs. I grew up in this community with a single mom who worked hard to make sure our needs were met. It was a local nonprofit that provided counseling services for our family and it was my mom, and the role that nonprofit organizations play in the world that inspired me to join the nonprofit world and help ensure that these services continue to exist for families today.
Every day here at SBCHC, seeing young people with healthy smiles and living pain-free because they have a Dental Home run by an amazing team of staff, or bumping into someone who says, "Hey, I know South Bay Children's Health Center - they helped my son," creates the passion that inspires me to be here every single day! This has been a year of transformation, change and grace and I am once again honored to ask friends and family to help me raise $1,000 in support of the mental health and oral health for the amazing families who allow us to provide them with quality care. It is an honor of greatest measure and I hope YOU will help me again this year. Every gift is welcome and appreciated. Whether $10, $50, $100 or more - your donation will go to provide vital, critical dental care and mental health services and we are forever grateful for your support.
