I am proud and excited to announce that I have been selected to run for the Lingzi Foundation. Lingzi Lu was a student at BU who lost her life in the Boston Marathon bombing tragedy on April 15, 2013.
The Foundation provides opportunities to those who share Lingzi’s ambition and dreams to enrich their lives, open their minds, and break down barriers by learning from her positive spirit, unparalleled work ethic, perseverance, and humanism. In 2013, my two daughters were at the Boston Marathon at mile 25 with friends cheering on runners. They were about to head to the finish line but decided to stop for a bite to eat first...which I am BEYOND thankful for. They are a lot like Lingzi, with many hopes and dreams for the future.
I feel very lucky and honored to be able to run this 2020 Boston Marathon...not to mention with my daughter Emily!
Please support me as I train over the next few months to conquer 26.2 miles from Hopkington to Boston. Your donation will help keep Lingzi Lu’s memory and dreams alive!
No donation is too small and every donation is appreciated!
