Whew! I am retiring. I mean, I still want to stick around and look good for as long as I can but my feet are sore and I need to rest. If you don't know me my name is Lily. I am an exceptional therapy pony at Hold Your Horses, a nonprofit in Minnesota that offers equine assisted therapy featuring, well, me. I have rebounded back to work after several bouts of sore feet with good care and love from my team but now reality has settled into my bones. I have served Hold Your Horses since 2006 carrying our patients, bringing calm to those in need and never missing a photo op. Over the last year I have decreased my workload but now I am no longer able to carry even our smallest clients. These children are waiting for my successor because they can't be safely served on our larger horses. Finding a pony to take my place has been tough and let's face it; this isn't a job for just any pony. We need the right pony for the job and that comes at a price. Please help me raise funds to purchase, transport and care for the next pony to fill my shoes. I want to leave a legacy of love for the children we serve. Your support means everything. Thank you!
