Lillian's Ukraine Mission Trip
When asked to join this mission trip to Poroshkovo, Ukraine , my heart lept! This surprised me because previously there was not a thought to do something like this. Since then, God has confirmed several times that He is calling me to serve and I will be need to totally rely on His strength.
Poroshkovo, Ukraine is a poor community. Within the village there is an even poorer side of town where families who are ethnically Romanian live in simple huts. In this neighborhood hundreds of children live, most illiterate, many raising their younger siblings, all needing to know the love and hope of Jesus.
On this trip,Every Generation Ministry (EGM)-Romania who is involved in ongoing outreach to the children and families of Poroshkovo, and with the help of several Romanian churches, we will be offering a VBS-style camp program for kids during the mornings and helping with building projects during the afternoons.
Our mission is to share the gospel of Jesus through love, fun, and hard work.
Will you please consider and pray about partnering with me financially and/or in prayer to provide this life-changing opportunity to our team and the families of Poroshkovo, Ukraine.
This will be a trip will also be in honor of my mom, Sofia Altuchow, who recently passed away, She was born in a samll village in Ukraine, much like Poroshkovo. With God's help she was freed from poverty and fervently served God. Her heart for missions, and fundraising skills took her many times to Ukraine and Russia to bring the Hope of Jesus Christ to many.
