Lights Back On, Inc., provides utility and emergency assistance to low-income families and individuals within the state of Georgia. We constantly go into communities along with staying up to date on local affairs, in order to understand their needs. Just recently in Georgia 30,000 people did not have any power. Our organization felt so defeated, due to the lack of funding resources to help.
Now more than ever, Georgians depend on electricity during the pandemic. Students attend school online from home, a lot of parents work from home. Without utilities, it can also limit the ability to stay warm or prepare a hot meal.
We have the compassion, work ethic and drive to help: We only need the missing puzzle which is funding, in order to carry out our mission. We believe that no one should be without electricity due to affordability or job loss.
