Hi, my name is Justin Renner. This is my fourth year rowing with LGRC and my second year rowing competitively. Last year I was a rower on the Novice Men and now I am returning to LGRC to compete on their Varsity Men’s team. I had the privilege to race in the Freshman Coxed Quad that got gold at Southwest Regionals, and the Quad that got bronze at the U15/U17 National Championships.
Rowing has helped me stay more organized and disciplined even with just one year under my belt. The team culture is always positive and supportive. When we are working together as a team, there is really nothing we can’t accomplish. My squad (Varsity Men) is like a second family to me.
All donations will go directly to LGRC to help pay for oars, boats, ergs (Rowing Machines). Thank you for your consideration in supporting Los Gatos Rowing Club and helping us go faster.

Founded in 1979, Los Gatos Rowing Club (LGRC) has trained and coached more than 2,500 highschool-level student-athletes from all over the Silicon Valley. This year our club is celebrating 40 years of rowing on the beautiful Lexington Reservoir (located just outside of Los Gatos CA, along HW17).
Over the last four decades, our junior rowers have consistently competed on the national level, and have found much success in bringing home numerous regional, and national titles. Although rowing is a smaller, less visual sport, many of our athletes are recruited to row at top colleges and universities across the country.
As participants of our teams, our club members and athletes, fundraise every fall to keep our equipment in optimal performance conditions. With time, and daily transportation to and from the water, our boats and equipment see a fair amount of wear and tear. We’re in constant need of rotating through, replacing and retiring boats. Proper equipment, including shells (boats), oars, and cox boxes (in-boat microphone/audio), are key to competing at the top level.
LGRC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization; any donations made are tax deductible
