WHAT IS THE LGBTQI+ CREATORS FUND?
The LGBTQi+ Creators Fund is a need-based grant which was established to support LGBTQi+ and female-identifying creators who do the essential work of nightlife and live performance for their communities but are currently out of work due to COVID-19.
WHO WE ARE:
The LGBTQi+ Creators Fund is organized by Alice Longyu Gao and is managed by Topical Cream, a New York-based non-profit organization dedicated to championing the vision of women, femmes, and gender-nonconforming individuals in contemporary art since 2013. The goal is to fill in the gap where other grants and fundraisers have left off, often not supporting those doing the essential work on the night shift for their communities. The fund will be launching with a fundraiser featuring Alice's artist friends: 100 Gecs, Dorian Electra, HANA, Cowgirl Clue, Alex Chapman and Nat Puff in partnership with @ClubQuarantine and @ReallyLikeToParty.
