LFSF students support Know Your Rights Camp!
Recent events have led students at the Lycee Francais de San Francisco (LFSF) to engage in dialogue and to question the recent protests after the death of George Floyd. We have also reflected on law enforcement and how it impacts African American and Latino communities. Since the LFSF is an international school we realize that these protests resonate with black communities around the world including France and Brazil.
Today, the LFSF students are asking you to join in supporting Know Your Rights Camp (created by Colin Kaepernick) because of the work that they do to support African American communities around the US through self empowerment and education. Their mission resonates with our school’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiative and values. Your donation for Know Your Rights Camp will directly provide opportunities for future camps to take place in Oakland, as they did in 2016.
