Celebrating our diverse community is at the heart of what Let’s Play! A Place for Families does. As we celebrate the holiday season, we ask you to consider supporting Let’s Play! and our efforts to continue supporting early childhood education and bringing together families in our community.
Let’s Play! A Place for Families is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Tarrytown, New York. Our mission is twofold: to equip parents and caregivers with the support and advice they need to overcome the many challenges that come with raising young children, and to provide an introductory school experience to very young children. Our hope is that families develop lasting relationships and acquire a lifelong love of learning during their time spent at Let’s Play!
There are several programs in Westchester that offer classes and support pre-kindergarten readiness for underserved families. There are endless opportunities for middle and upper class families who can afford enrichment classes and private preschool. But there is no program in Westchester like Let’s Play! that brings all socioeconomic groups together under one roof to play and learn from one another in a multicultural, bilingual environment. No one is ever turned away due to inability to pay.
Let’s Play! helps set children up for academic and social success in kindergarten and beyond. Bringing together diverse families from all walks of life early in the parenting journey fosters a sense of community and unity that is often lost in our society.
