UPDATE: Last week, Trump cut $400 million (aka all of the US's funding) to the World Health Organization, which was supposed to trickle down through UNICEF's team on the ground in 190 countries. This will have devastating effects on the poorest nations. In the US, UNICEF is focused on children's education rights during the crisis and around the world UNICEF is focused on bringing PPE to the front lines. We need your support now more than ever!!
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Nicole aka DJ Rosé. I began my involvement with UNICEF 3 1/2 years ago DJing their Annual Snowflake Ball. This fall, I joined the UNICEF NextGen Steering Committee and then became Vice Chair of our Events Committee. We were planning a really incredible concert on World Water Day to support UNICEF's clean water initative in Guinea and given the current state of the world, we had to cancel.
Part of what drew me to UNICEF was their ability to be at the forefront of the world's most challenging crises so I'd like to redirect the generousity and support of my family and friends to UNICEF's extensive COVID 19 initative. Your contribution will help UNICEF prevent more new infections throughout the world by delivering education and key protective equipment. A $5 contribution to UNICEF, the cost of your morning coffee, donates 200 pairs of disposable gloves to healthcare workers and families in need around the world so no donation is too small!
Anyone who donates $50+, tag me in a screen shot with #SomethingBlue and you will receive a special shout out on @djnicolerose. Please share this campaign and keep the good vibes going, guys!!
