Register your team of 4 to compete in Vermont's first event Axe Throwing competiton in support of the American Cancer Society's breast cancer initiavites.
This event is 18+ . Only Registered team members & staff are permitted due to space. Arrive at 6:00 PM for one-on-one Team training (no experience necessary), networking, refreshments & more!
We currently have 5 breast cancer grants totaling nearly $1 million being conducted at institutions across Southern and Western New England. While the American Cancer Society has made a lot of progress, there is still so much work to be done, so we can one day say we live in a world without breast cancer. Every day we get closer to beating our biggest rival (cancer) because of supporters like you!
RULES
This event is 18+ . Only Registered team members & staff are permitted due to space.
Competitive Axe Throwing originated from lumberjacks slinging axes at wooden planks for fun. Each competitor throws an axe at a target, attempting to hit the bullseye as near as possible. Now this thrilling game is bringing friends, colleagues and families together.
There will be a 10-15 minute training followed by practice throw time and then an eliminiation style tournament. Teams will compete where average scores are calculated and teams with higher scores will advance to a final elimination round. Scores will be tracked using official NATIONAL AXE THROWING CHAMPIONSHIP (NATC) rules. Final scores will be listed at http://www.nationalaxe.com/tournaments.html
