Everything has an expiration date. Sadly, the expriation date for our Club drinking fountains came this past weekend. After over 12 years of service, they have stopped working and are beyond repair.
While drinking fountains may seem like a small thing, but with 110 youth in the club each day during the school year, and nearly 300 during the summer, these fountains get a lot of use. We know that a hyrdated child is a happy child. Also, where else can our members find water to toss at each other on hot days. Our members are clamoring for a new one, and we are hoping that you can help.
Rather than pull funds supporting our life-changing programs, we want to create a new source of funds to help this project. A new unit and installation will cost $1,500 and we are hoping that the supporters of the Boys & Girls Club of Troy can help us crowd source our way towards our goal.
The current side by side model currently works, but we want to add a bottle filling station and be able to reduce our impact on the environment, especially in the summer when water is in great demand. This will be a big hit with our members!
For each donation of $25 or more, that donor's name will be listed on the a plaque next to the drinking founations. Your legacy can live on showing our members that you support them and their Great Futures!
