On April 6, 2020 The Christopher Conner Foundation launched the Let it Sing COVID-19 Relief Grant to provide assistance to SC-based musicians during the current global pandemic. The foundation's board of directors voted unanimously to direct its scholarship funds to the newly created grant, which awards $500.00 per grant to qualifying musicians.
The response has been overwhelming and the Foundation has received more applications than we can currently fund. We strongly desire to continue this grant program as we do not know how long this crisis will linger. We are actively and fervently working to secure additional funds. We are inviting you to help. Please consider a donation to further this great cause. During times like this music can be such a healing prescription. Remember these people who are dedicating their lives to making music for our pleasure and entertainment. 100% of the donated funds will go directly to the grants for the musicians.
If you are a South Carolina musician in need of assistance due to cancelled performances, you can apply for a Let it Sing Grant at www.connerfoundation.org. As funds are donated and available, we will consider each application in the order they are received.
