It is a truth universally acknowledged that felines are true masterworks. As I approach my 30th anniversary of living in the world, I feel the need to ensure that these works of evolutionary art remain present and thriving. This is why I am mobilizing my friends and family and donating my birthday to Panthera.
Panthera is the only organization in the world that is exclusively devoted to the conservation of the world’s 40 wild cat species and their ecosystems. With the expertise of the world’s premier cat biologists, Panthera develops and implements global strategies for the most imperiled large cats: tigers, lions, jaguars, snow leopards, cheetahs, pumas, and leopards. Panthera partners with local and international NGOs, scientific institutions, local communities, governments and citizens around the globe who want to help build a future for wild cats.
The goal I’ve set ($1500) is equivalent to 50 friends donating at the $30 level. With $1500 for example, Panthera can protect 633 acres of Colombian rainforest habitat for their Jaguar Corridor Initiative.
Our campaign will culminate on Saturday, April 13th with a thank you soirée at my apartment. I hope we can join forces to preserve the survival of these magnificent beings.
With Gratitude,
Rony
