This campaign is created to inform the volunteers, supporters, residents of the community, the world, and all concerned of the status of the restoration and future plans for the revitalization of the Butler Community Center. For those who may not know the Butler Center was severely damaged by tornado like winds in early March of 2020. As a result the center has not been able to fulfill it's scheduled obligations nor generate revenue for future operational, maintenance and development cost. However, we do wish to inform you that we fully intend to reopen with the goal of completing our ongoing projects and continually striving to evolve into a more serviceable facility for the entire community. Like any living organism that does not move and is not nourished becomes still and lifeless is assumed to be dead and soon abandoned, so will our community if not cared for. This community center is not just a building, it's a legacy left by our forefathers of each and everyone in this surrounding area. We, like those that came before us, do not want our community to become lifeless and desolate, void of future memories that can be recalled and cherished by future generations. Therefore we are asking you, our supporters, donors, volunteers and residents of the community to continue to be determined to keep our community alive. The restoration of the Center has begun and is being handled by the Fairfield ISD. For those of you who have patronized the use of the center, we ask that you continue to do so. We the members of the Board Of Directors will always serve with the interest of the community and it's residents at heart. This is why the many volunteers dedicate their time, energy and resources toward the preservation of this cause. We still need your help today by donating to not just restore the center but to make it better than before.
