Learning Enterprises is a student-run 501(c)(3) international volunteer organization centered around connecting people by sending students to teach English in underserved areas in nine different countries. Learning Enterprises connects volunteers and students through intercultural exchange, so both parties come out of the experience with broadened horizons and a deeper understanding of the world in which they live. Volunteers teach students living in mostly rural areas for about 20 hours per week. The program operates on the trust between the volunteers and the people they teach, as well as the longstanding relationship between the organization and the communities we've served for years. Importantly, Learning Enterprises does not include a program fee, so our programs are accessible for both volunteers and students. For this reason, much of our funding comes from crowdsourcing and individual fundraising. Anything you can give, even if it's just a dollar, will be put to a great cause!
