As many of you know, Denise was fortunate enough to travel to Kenya this past summer and visited the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, spending time with some of the orphaned elephants. It was heartbreaking but also inspiring to see the effort that goes into saving and rehabilitating these beautiful animals from ivory poaching and human-wildlife conflict. Each elephant has their own keeper who stays with the orphans 24/7 to provide much needed comfort and reassurance. Not to mention the ground and air support that is needed. We encourage you to visit dswt.org where you can read the stories behind every rescue. Let's make this planet a better place to live!! Thank you so much!!!
