With California now showing significant environmental issues from fires, drought, earthquakes, etc. LBWF needs to be prepared for all the animals we rescue in their time of need!
Although, some may dispute the drought, it is obvious to those of us who live on wells, in the high desert, we must ship our water in to care for the needs of the rescued dogs. The price had gone up, with our discount, to $100 a load. From water buckets, baby pools for the dogs to cool off in the high heat, to the 24/7 laundry for their bedding and care, we need a minimum 2 loads a week & we have not hit the high summer heat yet. We also wish to acquire a minimum of four small generators to help with the emergency necessities for the dogs in the case of an earthquake, power outage and so on.
Our dog food bills are high. Very few companies donate quality food for the rescue dogs, so we provide through Costco and other avenues, especially for our cancer dog program. There is so much that goes into rescuing; spay, neuter, emergency medical needs and vaccines, electricity, water, housing, caretakers, transporters, from faraway shelters to transport the dogs to LBWF property, to save innocent Lives.
These are just some of our urgent needs. Many of you out there now know the costs involved in rescue and the horrible emergency crisis of our American pets that are being overlooked by the government and the public. We desperately need your help and count on you as animal lovers, as we are, to provide the necessities to save their lives!
Volunteers and animal lovers are always welcome to love on the animals and make their day just that much brighter! Plus, it’s good for your heart!
I hope we can count on you! Your donations save lives of innocent animals in need! There is no amount too small, and collectively, it all adds up to helping our cause.
Here are some donation suggestions: $10, $15, $20, $25, $30, $35, $40, $45, $50 on up.
