I joined Children's Bureau almost 3 years ago, because it was a cause that I held near and dear to my heart. I grew up in a rough part of Santa Ana and saw first hand how difficult it can be to grow up in a lower income area. It has been a pleasure to give back to kids and families that need it in these past 3 years and this is another great opportunity.
In honor of Children's Bureau's 116th birthday and to raise awarness for it, I will be riding my bike 116 miles in 24 hours. I will be riding around the perimeter of The Great Park in Irvine on August 29th, which will take approximately 39 laps. I would love your support to help me reach my fundraising goal and if you feel like it, come out to join me for a lap or two on the 29th!
Since 1904, Children’s Bureau has strengthened families by investing in a child’s most critical years. We have grown to serve over 50,000 children and parents annually across Southern California through child abuse prevention programs, mental health counseling, foster care, adoption services, and more.
Children’s Bureau is committed to helping vulnerable children and families in our community. Every child deserves to grow up feeling nurtured and safe. We can do this, but we need your support.
Join me to celebrate Children's Bureau's 116th birthday by taking the #116Challenge.
