In June of 2015 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, and the prognosis was guarded. Over the next 6 months I underwent rigorous chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant (which required a one-month stay in the Bone Marrow Transplant ward of University of Colorado Hospital. Thanks to new developments in medical treatment of lymphoma and the outstanding treatment and care provided by the oncologists and their team I am currently in remission. I want to do everything possible to further research into lymphoma and other cancers to allow myself and other cancer patients the chance to recover and continue to lead healthy full lives after their cancer experience. Please consider donating in my name to this effort!
