Some of you might remember that I am heavy (haha) into powerlifting. I did my first meet earlier this year after deciding to switch from bodybuilding. I did well enough to qualify for nationals in June!!! This was a huge deal to me, but you know what got me even more excited?! The chance to use my passion for powerlifting to make a difference in my community. To help those who are stranded and probably feel alone and unwanted. I can't think of a better way to show community pride then to lift a crap ton of weight and raise money for doing it! I want to raise at least 300 dollars minimum which is what I am shooting for on June 16th. I lifted 265 in February at my meet and I definitely think I can pull an extra 35 pounds off the ground for such a great cause. And I'm sure some extra money and hitting my fundraiser goal may even ramp me up enough to try for even more!!! Won't you help me lift this heavy load by donating?!
