Why I run:
Running has long been a part of my life. My father is responsible for indroducing it to me back in the early 80's. Ever since then I have loved to run. It literally has taken me around the world. It has allowed me to experience and meet people I never would have. I have several reasons I run; fun, health and wellness, escape, sense of freedom, empowerment, duty, pride etc. The reason I am running the Falmouth Road Race is to raise money for the kids I work with and love everyday. These kids are special in a way that makes us all better. They have been in my life for 7 years now and the strength and empowerment they give me to be "better than yesterday" is never-ending. Currently, as the Physical Education Teacher at Latham, I am honored to run for my Students and I ask that you can give what you can to help them live healthier happier lives. I will do my best for them in my running come August and everyday on campus and in class! Thank You :)
